This carbine is a big bang for the buck!!! The price is incredible and the performance and accuracy is very good. If I had to say anything negative is that the magazines don't load smoothly and the chamber isn't fond of JHP (jacketed hollow points) It prefers ball ammo because it loads much better. JHP's will work however with the carbon and lead build up that happens from normal firing will cause misfeeds at times. Other than that it's fun to shoot and putting a red dot on it makes it even more fun to shoot. You could buy an AR or AK and the ammo is sooooo much more expensive. Hi-Point may not be the cadilac of weapons but it is a very good value for the money. It also comes with a life time warranty. Can't beat it. Happy shooting.
