Good Ass Gun!!!

Rating:  This gun is an excellent gun...If you feel like just popping off a couple rounds than this gun is made for fun. I have put about 2000 rounds through it and have had only one shell not eject. That is pretty good for 2000 rounds. If you need a gun just to have fun with and target shoot this is the gun for you. It is equal in performance with the more expensive guns. I definatly recomend this gun.

.40 caliber hi-point carbine

Rating: I've owned this awesome little carbine in .40 caliber for at least a year now and, absoloutely love it! I can shoot 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards with it and my little no magnification simmons red dot scope. I've also shot the $800 beretta .40 caliber carbine and can out shoot it every time with the same scope from my hi-point. If its your thing you can buy the ATI stock and modify it to fit the .40 cal and it looks alot like the beretta. I'd recomend it anyone and everyone!!

Rating:  I have only put about 60 rounds through the gun but I am pretty well pleased. The rounds stove piped on me one time when I was firing quickly, I think a lot of that was being brand new and not breaking in the springs yet. The plastic stock is made of terribly poor material, I HIGHLY recommend anyone buying the gun gets the ATI replacement stock.
In general, I wouldn''t stake my life on this gun, but its fun, reasonably reliable, comes with a nice warranty, and very fairly priced. If you don''t intend to use it for a home/land defense (in which case I could go with a higher quality carbine or rifle) It''s a good buy.
Recommended for recreational shooting and varmint hunting
